The Relativity Group is part of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Otago. The main research interests of the group are focused on topics within Einstein’s theory of general relativity. The common theme is the study of the global structure of general relativistic spacetimes using both analytical and computational methods, whether in the context of black hole interiors or big bang models of cosmology.
