The Mathematical and Computational Gravity group is part of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Otago.
The research of the group is focused on topics within Einstein’s theory of gravitation. The common theme is the study of the global structure of general relativistic space-times using computational methods. Other interests lie outside this area, in particular in transformation optics, Riemann surfaces for integrable systems and the geometry of air-water interfaces.
